Who is this workshop for?
This Workshop is for anyone wanting to learn how to play the south american Quena Style Flute.
On this day, you will experience a Sacred sharing Space with others learning the Flute, plus Simple and detailed instructions on how to
get a sound and play the flute
- Check in of everyone's level of play so you get the most out of the afternoon
- time to connect with your flute and free play on the flute,
- How to practice to get better and integrate the new techniques
- breath exercises,
- fingering, scales,
Flutes Provided and For Sale:
No worries if you don't own a flute.
Flutes are available to play and to purchase on the day for $195 each.
Investment:
- Class only - $65
- Quena Flutes vary in price from $50 - $170
You can pay $50 deposit for a flute on booking and then pay extra on the day if you choose a more expensive one. Most are around $100.
What to Bring:
Water to hydrate
Extra money if you wish to buy a flute on the day.

Other flutes will also be available for purchase on the day

About Troy:
Troy is a multi instrumentalist / musician and has been playing Quena Style Flute for over 10 years. He plays the flute in sacred sound events and ceremony and is engaged with passing the skill-set on to another generation of players.
